Rules & Regulations

General rules :

• Library users should be properly dressed. No slippers, shorts (pants and skirts) and singlets are allowed.
• Library users must prominently display their Student ID on them at all times.
• Smoking, eating and drinking are not allowed in the Library.
• Remain silent at all times in the Library.
• Library users are prohibited from making or answering phone calls in the Library.
• Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets must be switched to silent mode before entering the Library.
• Student’s ID Tag is not transferable and must be presented whenever requested by the Librarian
• Misuse of other student’s ID Tag is a serious offence and the offender will be required to leave the Library premises apart from being subjected to disciplinary action.
• All materials are not to be removed from the Library unless properly authorized by the Librarians.
• Bags (including laptop bags), cutter, scissors, watercolour & painting materials are not allowed into the Library. They must be kept on the shelves near the student lounge.
• Pets are strictly not allowed in the Library.
• All books, magazines and personal belongings brought into the Library must be shown to the Librarian upon exiting.
• The Library will not be held responsible for the loss of any personal belonging.
• Any theft or willful damage to the Library materials will not be tolerated and offenders will be required to replace the materials taken or damaged and will be subjected to disciplinary action.
